| This is my last break from school before our son is born. . . have you ever felt like you've been so blessed that something out there has got to go wrong? I mean I have a job I love and enjoy, a strong, faith-based marriage, a house to raise a family in and a son on the way. A friend of mine reminded me that bad things will happen and that I need to remember that regardless of my situation, my faith should not falter. I went into a "nesting" frenzy last night and took the walls out of the nursery. There are wood walls underneath, which are beautiful, but need a lot of love. So I have probably bitten off more than I can chew considering today is my last day off of my break! Either way, I should get back to scrubbing and filling. 45 days to go. . . but who's counting? | So many blessing in my life. . . where do I begin? I received a teaching position at Manteo Middle School and love it. Nothing better than benefits and having a job you look forward to each day. And those benefits will come in handy when Heath and I welcome our child (on or around) March 6th. I'll update when we find out the sex, which will hopefully be in two weeks when I go back to the doc. |

| I received word yesterday that I got into Graduate School at East Carolina University! I start in the Fall. Besides this. . . what's new? School is out, I am waiting tables, Heath was promoted to boat foreman at Spencer Yachts and life is pretty good. I am in love with the weekends because we both have off. Last Saturday was my first Sat off since February. :) |
